Welcome to the first of, we hope, many Blog posts for The Right CV. August has been a big month for customers of The Right CV with many people seeking a new position within and without their current workplaces and very few due to retrenchments. In the current economic climate with the cash issues throughout the US, this situation may change as medium and large businesses feel the pinch. In this situation many job seekers will decide to stay in a position they are somewhat unhappy in due to the percieved tight job market.
If your job sucks so much, you just can’t stay another minute longer then you will need to make sure your Resume and Cover Letter make you shine so much that employers just have to have you! (Of course we can help you with this.) The old addage WIIFM (What’s in it for me) from the employers perspective is vital in ensuring what you have to offer is tailored to their needs.
